ReplyDeleteI am struggling with a couple of lines though: what 'needle' is bringing vitality? could you explain your use of 'askew' in Line 14? and what do you mean by 'absurd' in the penultimate line?
That said, I especially like the second stanza - and I am amazed by the way you have sustained a difficult rhyme in stanza three. Just be careful your rhyming always works for you, rather than you working for your rhyme. (Does that make sense?)
