Final Task for 2009

Personally, I had SO much fun with Task 43, I would like you to have another chance at it for your final task of 2009.

As Sophie pointed out, technically speaking, a story with precisely 100 words (including the title) is called a DRABBLE. Click here to read a bit more about drabbles.

Please choose one of the following titles (and try to cover all of them between you if you can?):
  1. Time
  2. Rain
  3. Moon
  4. Glass
  5. Wings
  6. Night
  7. Fire
  8. Silk
  9. Sleep
  10. Chance
Then write your own drabble (i.e. title + 99 words).

Before you start planning or drafting your drabble, it is essential that you:
  • look again at Task 43, to remind yourself of the instructions I gave you then
  • read every drabble produced by other students for Task 43
  • read every comment the different moderators wrote on each of those drabbles
  • list the main, most useful suggestions the moderators gave in response to Task 43
  • use all this information to ensure your Task 43 drabble is the best yet!
You can start planning and drafting your drabble straight away; your finished product, however, MUST be posted by midnight on Sunday 13th December.
