My sweet kitten

I see a peek of her big ginger tail
It comes from underneath the soft white rug
I look at her in peace with such detail
She sleeps and dreams in her nice bed so snug

  1. Hooray!!!! :)

Perfect iambic pentameters from start to finish! Well done!!! I am impressed beyond measure, and really proud of you too.

(Although, if I have to pick a hole in it somewhere, grumpy old teacher that I am, I would say it is a shame you have used a word as bland and useless as "nice")...

  6. I suppose so... :)

But the next stage of the challenge, I guess, is to meet the demands of different meter WITHOUT sacrificing a rich and powerful lexicon (vocabulary).
