Apart from Line 1 of Jai, your syllables are spot on - well done! And you employ a very clever approach to the tricky 'theme change': using BUT or YET at the start of many of your final lines, you ensure that there is a change of mood between Lines 2 and 3. Cunning! :)
ReplyDeleteBut your haikus are more than technically adept. There is something quite insightful about many of your character portrayals - esp. Line 3 of Lopa and Vina. You clearly understand them very well indeed.
