ReplyDeleteSo CONGRATULATIONS on those three lines. A fantastic achievement!
As for line 1: you've actually got 4 iambs, followed by a catalesis (rather than 4 trochees): that DAY is SURE the REST are ALL MINE. For the line to work trochaically, you would be stressing IS and THE which in this line don't sound right.
Try to rework Line 1 as an "(edit)"?
